Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the RV Masters website and to the services and products we provide. By using our website, booking a service, or buying from us, you agree to these terms. Some services have their own separate written agreement, which will take priority where it differs from these terms.

About us

RV Masters is a family-run RV workshop based at 3/142 Ossie James Drive, Hamilton 3282. Phone 07 843 0070, email hello@rvmasters.co.nz.

Our services

We provide RV servicing and repairs, compliance and certification (including Self-Containment, Gas and Electrical), inspections and valuations, Sell on Behalf consignment, Rental Management, and an online shop. Some services are also available mobile across the Waikato.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on this website are in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless clearly stated otherwise. Workshop labour is shown both GST inclusive and exclusive for clarity. Quotes are an estimate based on the information available at the time; if a job turns out to need more or different work, we will talk to you before going ahead. Larger jobs may require a deposit before work begins.

Bookings and cancellations

You can book through our online scheduler, by phone or by email. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as you can. For services with a separate agreement (Sell on Behalf, Rental Management), the cancellation terms in that agreement apply.

Workshop work and warranty

We stand behind our work. A workmanship warranty applies to most jobs; the specifics depend on the work and we will confirm them when you book. Parts carry their manufacturer's warranty. If you supply your own parts, we will fit them where appropriate, but we cannot warrant parts we did not supply.

Compliance and certification

We inspect your RV against the relevant New Zealand standards. Passing is not guaranteed — if your RV does not meet the standard, we will explain what needs to change. Where a physical certificate or card (such as a Green Warrant) is issued through a certification authority, it is issued after a successful inspection rather than on the spot, and we will confirm the timeframe when you book. Keeping your certificates current is your responsibility.

Inspections and valuations

An inspection or valuation reflects our professional opinion based on what is reasonably visible and testable on the day. It is not a guarantee or warranty of the condition or future performance of the RV, and it does not replace your own due diligence. Reports are provided for the person who commissioned them.

Sell on Behalf

Under Sell on Behalf, we act as your agent to sell your RV — we do not own it and we do not guarantee a sale or a timeframe. Our commission is tier-based and GST inclusive: a fixed $6,000 up to $50,000; 11% from $50,001 to $100,000; 10% from $100,001 to $150,000; and 9% from $150,001 and above. Cleaning fees may apply if your RV is not delivered clean, including a $150 disposal fee if the cassette toilet is not emptied. A $950 cancellation fee applies if you withdraw the listing, plus the cost of any work already completed. Full terms are set out in your signed Sell on Behalf agreement, which takes priority over this summary.

Rental Management

Under Rental Management, you own the RV and we manage it as a rental on Camplify. The full terms — including our management fee, minimum term, notice period, and how income, maintenance, insurance and claims are handled — are set out in your signed management agreement, which takes priority over this summary. Camplify's own terms also apply to hires.

Online shop

All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability. We do our best to keep prices and product details accurate; if there is an obvious error we will let you know before processing your order. Payment is taken at checkout. Delivery times are estimates. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 always apply — nothing in these terms limits them. For returns or a faulty item, contact us and we will put it right.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate information, to have the legal right to sell or authorise work on any RV you bring to us, and to remove personal belongings before drop-off unless we agree otherwise.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service or product.

Intellectual property

The content, branding and logo on this website belong to RV Masters and may not be used without our permission.

Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and any disputes will be dealt with in the New Zealand courts.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown above.
